The hotel was close to the freeway and where we were going. We usually stay at a Residence Inn hotel whenever we go out of town and we need to stay at a hotel. We like having a room with kitchen facilities and the rooms are usually larger than in a traditional hotel. The only complaint is concerning the lack of smoking rooms available in California. We requested a smoking room when I made the Pleasanton reservation but one was not available when we checked in which would have been ok had our room been located at the end of a hallway close to an entry door. Unfortunately, our room was not. Also at the Pleasanton Residence Inn hotel the sofa bed was not made up nor was there any of the right sized bedding available in our room or elsewhere to make up the sofa bed. The Milpitas Residence Inn hotel was able to accommodate our smoking room request and the sofa bed had sheets on it. On both occasions we checked into the hotel on a Friday afternoon and required an early check in and we were accommodated. Additionally, we requested a late check out on Sunday which the hotels were both able to provide us with. We will most definitely stay at the Residence Inn hotel again and we are already planning to stay at the Milpitas Residence Inn hotel again next September when we will again be going.

This place is really nice for a getaway. They have dinnerware/silverware already in the room. Also they have a complimentary breakfast and at the lobby you can get games to play too.

I like Residence Inn by Marriott very much. It is home away from home. It is not like the regular hotels. I feel very comfortable there. They have a complimentary breakfast, they provide internet connections, good housekeeping, and have a friendly staff.

We had a nice romance package with whirlpool tub, a movie, and champagne. The champagne was okay. The hotel breakfast is always good. The maid service is lacking and the rooms are not cleaned on time.

Everything was fine, it was convenient to where we were going. We were in town to see the Friday night and Saturday night concert at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, and the weekend room rate was great, the best as I checked all of the Residence Inn hotels in the area.
