This is to let you know to stay as far as possible from the Residence Inn located in:

600 Queensway Drive Long Beach, CA 90802.

A day in advance when I booked for a room I told them to make sure to remove any feathered pillows because my wife is allergic to them. May I remind you that I’ve traveled for work all the time throughout the United States, and Residence has never had a problem with this request. When I got to the hotel the feathered pillows were not removed, plus dirty dishes in the dish washer.

On another day I was expecting important mail to arrive, I called downstairs around 2 PM and to ask them for the mail and according to the person at the front desk , he/she checked and assured that I didn’t have any mail. Luckily, I had a tracking number and sure enough I was able to confirm that someone at the front desk had signed for it at 10:00 A.M. on that same day

Then the heavy bathroom shower glass door got loose, I was afraid it was going to fall off. I reported it around 8AM when I got back to the room by 5 P.M nobody did anything. Finally, they sent someone to look at it around 6PM, but the repair guy said he couldn’t fix it and that had to wait for the next day.

I needed to shower and I spoke to a guy at the front desk and he said he was aware of the bathroom glass door situation, that he couldn’t do anything for me. To make a long story short, when I decided to call it quits I ended up calling headquarters and finally, they were able to let me use a room to shower without having to move my things from my original room.

The next day the sales manager called asking what had happened last night, when I mentioned to her about the heavy bathroom glass door coming loose, she sarcastically asked if I got cut with the glass or was bleeding from the cut. Mind you that we were going to stay for a 120 days, so I decided it’s time to go. I ended up staying at the Residence Inn in Los Alamitos, CA a much better choice in my opinion.
