We camped at the Residence Inn - Union Hill for the Iowa State / Kansas State football game at Arrowhead in September. The rates were reasonable for what we recieved during a time that there was a huge rate spike in the area because of the American Royal, NASCAR, and football games. The hotel looks like an apartment complex with rooms opening to the outside. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and offered full-featured kitchens. We particularly enjoyed the proximity of this hotel to some nightlife and good BBQ within walking distance from our room. The free breakfasts were substantial too. Only complaint was that the TV package really stunk. Good thing we had a lot to do that weekend away from the hotel.
