I liked the location of the hotel compared to the several that I've stayed at in the Irvine area (my child attends UCI) because of proximity to the airport, general location, size of room, and amenities. You don't even need to cross the street to go
The location and service makes this hotel work. It's a bit long in the tooth but very serviceable. The staff bendt over backwards when small issues cropped up. All service personnel were cheerful, pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast spread....

It was the first time at a Residence Inn hotel that they did not serve sausage for breakfast. The desk light in the room was out. They are always comfortable, with full kitchen facilities.

This was an excellent stay for the price. The unit was large and well-appointed. The breakfast provided was more than adequate and in the evening, the hosted wine and hors d'ouevres were wonderful.

Staff is nice, as almost all Marriot's.
The rooms look a bit scaled down from other Residence Inn's. There is no fireplace. You only have two small burners instad of a full stove. No vent for the stove. No oven. No wireless...

Good
I don't think I've ever been unsatisfied at any of my Marriott experiences. As usual, the rooms were comfortable, roomy, and very accommodating. The staff is always helpful and the amenities are awesome.
