I love the location of this hotel it is down the road from the major mall in Durham (Streets of Southpoint). The staff is polite. Free breakfast and newspaper. The rooms are clean.
We loved staying at the Residence Inn! It's better than home, you can eat a bowl of cereal and the housekeeper will come in and make your bed and put your dishes away. Not to mention they offer to do your grocery shopping for you if you can't find ...
The service was great. Friendly people. It is alike having your own little apartment with maid service. I will look for a Residence Inn to stay in when we travel from now on.

The room lacked bed linens for the sleeper sofa; the mattresses were very old and hard; the Internet connection did not work and service personnel were not able to make it happen; there was no Marriott in-room guide to TV channels, local attractions
I checked into this motel with all the intentions of having a nice stay. I have stayed at this motel before and had a good expereince. This time it took me 3 time s before I got a room that was acceptiable. The first room the door would not open....
