8/20/07 Last week my family and I, hubby and 2 kids, stayed at the Residence Inn @ Norcross and I must say, it was truly delighful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast plentiful. The manager is truly doing a great job and running a very nice home-away-from-home. My husband and I enjoyed the home-like atmosphere. We meet a very nice couple who were celebrating a birthday and we were able to bbq outside and to use the dining area for a nice little celebration. My son enjoyed the basketball court immensley. The manager of this property should be proud. After we left the Norcross property we quickly made a reservation at another one and it was nothing like this one. This one is a gem! Will definitely stay there whenever I'm in Norcross.

I have to say that the staff are probably the laziest I've seen. I have had to live here for over 2 months while we secured a permanent living arrangement, and I have to say I was continually disappointed. They replace your towels, and make your bed, and run your dishwasher - but don't expect more than that. After having to complain about a large mould growth on the shower curtain - it was finally replaced, and hung up backwards. And since I'm a resident alien, I'm having to wait on receiving a work card - which means I'm around the hotel many hours of the day. Even though I leave the room for hours at a time, giving housekeeping plenty of time to get in and out with their minimal service - I've often come back to the room seeing it the way I left it. And even when I've approached the staff at the front desk and asked for housekeeping services - they brush off the request, and make excuses as to why it cannot be done. This place smells more often than not, and it's really nothing more than a cheap hotel with a hefty price tag. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The hotel was fine I had no problems, except for the room's air conditioner. It was very loud at night; every time it turned on it sounded like a truck was parked outside my window. I informed the front desk as I was checking out; they may want to c
