I had a wonderful stay at the Woodbridge Hotel & Conference Center. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant door man and check-in was very quick. I was upgraded to their newly renovated rooms. The rooms were gorgeous with brand new...

Mediocre
68 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

The room keys did not work. I had to call several times to get someone to open my room. The fixtures in the bathroom were broken and not repaired when reported.

I am not likely to return to the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Okay
59 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel was convenient to the area I was visiting. The bed was very roomy. Since the hotel was situated off the road, the noise was not a problem.

The lobby was large and furnished very nicely. My room had more than enough space for one person. I thought my personal bed at home was big, but the hotel bed was even bigger.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

Great place to stay near New York City – Posted Oct 15, 2007

Excellent

My friend and I wanted to visit New York City on a road trip, though we didn't want to drive into New York City since it was our first time visiting, and we didn't want to spend several hundred dollars per night for a hotel. I researched areas in...

Sweet dreams in Sheraton's Sweet Sleeper. The Sheraton's Sweet Sleeper Beds provide a heavenly night's sleep. The bed linens, pillows, and mattress are amazingly soft and comfortable. The room was spacious and had very nice decor. Maintaining a comfortable temperature in the room is easy with the digital thermostat mounted on the wall. I appreciated having access to the Internet through the television with a wireless keyboard, although the conncection was lost several times for reasons the hotel staff couldn't explain. The front desk removed the charge for the Internet service without me having to make that request. I thought that was an example of excellent service. However, I feel some of the front desk staff could show a little more cheer in their demeanor. The hotel is conveniently located two miles from a NJ transit train station that provides transportation to New York City's Penn Station in less than 45 minutes. A free shuttle will take you to the train station or other local places if you request. I happily recommend this hotel for families, the average leisure traveler, and for business travel.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Even more disappointing than Hilton (Iselin, NJ) – Posted Aug 13, 2007

Horrible

Last week I stayed at the Hilton, and due to poor air quality and dingy rooms, I decided to switch hotels and try the Sheraton this week. Bad mistake.

The service here is *the worst* I've experienced at a Sheraton (and I am a...

Theft and vandalism – Posted Apr 29, 2007

Horrible
35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

The hotel is great but the security is poor. Our car got vandalized and broken into, and the manual, GPS receiver, CDs, etc. were stolen. Several other cars were vandalized the same day with car windows being smashed, radios stolen, etc. The hotel staff was very nonchalant about the incident. The hotel received the news of the break in as normal and did not even ask about the welfare of all the guests with their vandalized cars. It was a horrible event and an uncomfortable stay. We will not stay there, ever again.

Good
57 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

The room service menu is boring. Check out is always a problem because my company pays all the charges for the room and taxes and I pay room service. The hotel never gets this right. Frequently they do not recognize my Platinum status. They are nice people, they try hard and they have comfortable beds.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Mediocre
44 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel provided me with an extremely poor level of service on three issues. My room was located in an area marked as the non smoking wing of the fifth floor. That should mean that all of the rooms in that wing on that floor were non smoking. They addressed a wet spot on the hotel's room carpet by covering it up with a bath mat, ignoring my suggestion to use a carpet cleaner, but to only utilize the vacuum mode. The front desk personnel was absolutely clueless about the transportation to the wedding and they bordered on being rude. As a hotel recommended by the wedding location and by other people, I was extremely disappointed by my experience. In addition to the three issues above, there are other shortcomings that the hotel has. The shower heads are too low. It has very poor design. The bath, the shower and the sink drained extremely slow. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. The inside of the bathroom door had obvious paint or ink marks on the bottom.

I am not likely to return to the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
