The Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed.

45 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
It was great, the only downside was some of the dining area staff, and that we paid a large amount of money for a couple of salon treatments in the salon and it was very disappointing. The treatments were done half heartedly and we left with stuff sticki.
This hotel made me feel excited: The sheer friendliness of the resort staff and the happy expressions the joking and fun you would have with most of the staff, always a what can we do for you attitude.

We have stayed at the wailea beach property many times and have always enjoyed it. It would be great if the decor was more hawaiian and less chinese/japanese. We love the view from the lobby and the beach is one of the best in hawaii.

I expected a lot from the maui renaissance, and found it to be just average.

We had to stay a couple extra nights in maui because was sick and couldn't fly. Their beds were very comfortable that had my best nights sleep there. I loved how clean the rooms are, and the fact they give you bath & body works products!!!!
This hotel made me feel pampered: Well we stayed there with my parents marriot points so we didn't have to pay money at the hotel, and they had great service at their resturants. Also it was such a nice atmosphere, that felt very comfortable there.

Requested particular room a year in advance and called a month in advance and a week in advance to be sure to get that room, but it was not available when we arrived and there was no notation on the computer of my calles & request.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: Bed was particularly confortable and there was a chaise lounge on the balcony rather than just a chair. The couch in the room was also very comfortable.
