Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Traveler Review

hip and fun hotel!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Renaissance Tampa for the Gasparilla Pirate Festival and were wowed beyond belief. We do not live in Florida so it was a perfect location because it was so close to the airport and other attractions that would typically be hard to find.The hotel was situated right in the heart of Tampa yet it felt like I was in a different country with a modern Italian feel. They had an on site restaurant called the Pelagia Trattoria which was just exquisite and offered secluded dining which made the nights truly romantic. We are in our late 20's so we loved the night life that was nearby, especially the Blue Martini. Being the shopoholic that i am the International Plaza and Bay Street located right next to the hotel was the perfect outdoor shopping experience. I would go back to the Renaissance Tampa tomorrow if i could the staff is so friendly and the rooms are so comfortable, you just cant beat it.
