Renaissance Stanford Court Hotel

The hotel offers Victorian style rooms and great hospitality. Complementary breakfast was delivered to my room in the morning. The staffs were helpful and professional. The hotel charges over $40 per day for parking, which is quite pricy. I would not recommend driving there as the hotel is close to a cable car stop that provides easy access to all the touristy spots, such as Union Square and Fishman's Wharf.

The attention to detail in the rooms was a bit small, particularly in the bathrooms.

This is a great hotel, well located, with very comfortable rooms and great service.

The hotel is great. The room had nice view. They just forgot I was allergic to feathers and I had to have all the feathered bedding removed despite having that noted on my travel profile. It took awhile to get that done when I arrived.

It is a great location at the intersection of the three streetcars lines. Do not rent a car, parking is expensive and very limited. Get a three day streetcar pass use them when you can. Otherwise use a taxi on those rare times you need to get to a destination too far off the lines and too far to walk. The onsite business office is great for internet access if you do not take a computer for in room access. Book an upper floor room for a nice view of the bay and the city. The downside of a stay here is that the only self serve ice machine for the whole hotel is on the first floor! Nevertheless, the location of the hotel for the tourist far outweighs this inconvenience. I would stay there again.
