28 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

It's a great location and a great hotel. I was upgraded for free to a handicapped room.

This hotel made me feel practical: I saved money by staying there.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance St Louis Grand and Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was great to be right across the street from the conference center. The hotel bar and restaurant coffee shop were all expensive and there were not very many less expensive options around the convention center.

This hotel made me feel practical: The rate we were charged, because of our organization's deal, was a lot less than the published rate for the hotel.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance St Louis Grand and Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.

alskx3 icon Plushy room, unbeatable location

This is a grand hotel in an unbeatable downtown St. Louis location. The entire hotel has a pleasant, Mediterranean feel with soaring palm trees that soar from the first floor to the fourth floor in the mezzanine, lobby area.

Check-in was a breeze, and although our room was not ready at check-in, the front desk contacted us by our cell phone when it was ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although the baggage people were too pushy and would not let us handle our baggage ourselves.

The room was generously appointed with Mediterranean blue carpet, plush bedding, burgundy duvet covers, and down pillows. The furniture in the room was a rich, warm cherry finish in immaculate condition.

The bathroom had plush towels and spa quality toiletries. Other amenities include an in-room coffee and tea service, USA Today, and two telephone jacks with unlimited WI-FI and long distance calling.

The Jacuzzi was closed on the day we visited and the indoor pool was a bit cool for late July heat, and towels were provided. The gym is bigger than most hotels in this class and was staffed.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance St Louis Grand and Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room was good, but I didn't get the extra towels I requested. The front desk people didn't know where to get the towels.

The rooms and lobby were pleasantly decorated and clean. I especially liked that the decoration was somewhat unique for a hotel.

This hotel is fairly well located, but there are not many shops within walking distance. All soda machines were broken.

47 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

It's a quiet and civilized hotel, but you're on your own after check in. There are no directions to the room, and staff is efficient but not friendly. The room was clean and extremely comfortable, as it was in the newer front part of the hotel. The bed was heavenly with a pillow top mattress. The bathroom was stunning and spotless. The room was not large, but not cramped either.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance St Louis Grand and Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
