male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I stayed at the Seattle Renaissance this week (August 2009}, everything was just fine starting from the most helpful and professional doorman, to the houskeeper, I had no complaints to make until the last moment when their valet brought up my truck, I realized that the cigarette odor in my truck was horrible and it made me think that the valet was smoking in it. I had to drive back to the hotel to complain and let the manager know that smoking in someone's property was totally wrong..

We stayed 1 night and paid $28 for parking. In the morning I was told by my son who was driving by that our car was broke into. After talking with security and giving them the details they told me they would clean up the glass so I could drive it somewhere to get it fixed. 1 hour later when I went to drive it to get it fixed there was still glass everywhere and 3 cars down was another couple that had the same thing happen to them. I know parking in their garage is at my own risk but I expected the hotel to at least pick up the cost of the garage fee or offer something to compensate me for the cost of having it fixed $250 and the 2 hours of my time it took to get it fixed. Follow through on the hotels part was very unprofessional. We intend to call management and bring this matter to their attention and see what if anything they plan on doing with it.
We had a great stay at the Renaissance. The service friendly and attentive, the rooms luxurious, and the views top notch. From the top floor lounge and fitness center you can see the whole city. We had no car in the city, and from the hotel we coul
