After a brief flight from San Francisco, I am now blogging from the Seattle Renaissance Madison Hotel in downtown Seattle. Thus far, the hotel seems to be a solid choice for anyone wanting to be close to downtown shopping, the waterfront, restaurants, etc., for a reasonable room rate. I’ve got a room with a water view on the 24th floor. Elevators have been humming along, early check-in was no problem and the pool area is a mere four floors away. Judging from TravelPost.com reviews of the Seattle Renaissance Madison Hotel, I’m in for a decent stay. More details to come, but for now, I’m off to the pool.

It seemed like they were so busy giving everybody else good service that they didn't have time to give me much service at all.

This hotel made me feel content: It was a good location that allowed us to go back to the hotel anytime for rest.
