The hotel was as classy or classier than the Ritz.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: They were super high class and they had extremely clean rooms.

It was good. The main problem was that there was drilling going on outside our room for several hours. Also the fitness room was not in use due to machine repair. This was inconvenient

The staff at the hotel was extremely polite and helpful. We stayed in the presidential suite, which was beautiful and had a great view of PNC Park, where fireworks were going on after a Pirate game. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The people at the front door were very helpful in getting our bags upstairs and car valet quickly and nicely.

The location of this hotel was perfect for travelers who do not want to rent a car. There were many activities to do and the stay was a great experience.

This hotel made me feel respected: After two days, most of the employees remembered my name.

Full service hotels are all pretty much the same.

We were not given the size room we were scheduled to have. We were 'yelled at' by neighboring guests, we were not even sure why. We were charged too much for our room and were not given any kind of refund. It was a very poor experience for too much money.

My room overlooked the river and a suspension bridge, it was very scenic. The furnishings were tasteful and new. The hotel was located in the middle of downtown, within walking distance of restaurants, downtown theaters, the new ballpark, and the Andy Warhol Museum. If I travel to Pittsburgh again, I will return to the Renaissance.

It was easy to get to and from the freeway. The hotel is in a good/central location to the business at hand.

The hotel has an excellent location.

They treat you well. Upon my checking in the first surprise after the cordial greeting was the question, "Do you need a bottle of water or snack?" It was on comp. You just don't expect that the hotel will care about your rough time getting there from the airport and offer up a free bottle of water and granola bar.

This hotel made me feel content: Great hours of availability for all necessities.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially the doorman. We stayed at another hotel last year and he went out of his way to get us a ride back to our hotel, as we could not find a cab!

This hotel made me feel extravagent: Everything at the hotel was 'first class'!

I found the staff courteous and helpful. They were always available for help at odd hours.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: I liked the great dining atmosphere at the restaurant. It was better than most offered in the city. I also liked the great selection of wines on hand, and the knowledgeable head waiter.
