We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days for a site seeing trip to NY. The location is not very convenient to get into the city. Even though the hotel is ok, the staff service is extremely poor. The person checking us in was not properly trained. We requested a roll-away bed at time of reservation and again at time of check-in. Still no bed was delivered. We had to call five additional times at night to get the bed about an hour after it was needed. The bath tub was clogged and this issue was not resolved after it was reported. The front-desk told us that news papers are delivered at door steps every morning. No paper was delivered. The check-out process was also a mess with several mistaked on the bill. Breakfast charges were added even though we had room rates with breakfast included. This was after mentioning this to the waiter multiple times. They also had an incorrect room charge for one of the rooms.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, until the last day of my stay. I asked the bellhop to reserve me a taxi for 10:00 in the morning for my trip to New York. To my suprise there was no taxi waiting for me at 10:00. A few taxi's pulled in and out while I was waiting, but the bellhop kept telling me that is not yours. "You are waiting for this one taxi driver" When my ride finally arrived over a half an hour late, I learned from one of the taxi drivers that the reason the bellhop did'nt let me go with one of the other taxi's was because "The special taxi driver" give's them a kickback. This really would'nt bother me, except for the fact I was late for my meeting, so the bellhop could make a few bucks.

Every thing was just fine, I could not find anything wrong.

They let me check in before my room was ready and gave me coupons to go shopping at the outlet mall.

There was always more than one person at the desk, so I never had to wait to ask a question. If the person I spoke to did not know they answer, she asked another. I appreciated the shuttle service, which made it possible for me to go into Manhattan for the evening. The room was luxurious. I appreciated having a comfortable chair and an incredible mattress.

The check in time was very late, around 3 PM. We were not notified of this and had nowhere to go in the meantime with all of our luggage. There was no free continental breakfast.

We had 260 students with us on a school trip. It was very difficult getting that many people settled in their rooms with only two elevators available to take everyone up to their rooms. I myself gave up and walked up 6 flights.

The amenities were nice, but there were problems with the room and the facility. The ground around the front of the bathtub was discolored; it was brown (the tub and wall were white), and the sink was cracked. The non-opening window frame was brok
