The service is outstanding, I especially love the help that the concierge gave me in making suggestions & reservations for restaurants and other helpful info. about transportation in the city. Due to the noise level, I even called the front desk and asked if they had any ear plugs available so that I could fall to sleep easier and an employee delivered those to my room within minutes. The courtesy shoe shining service is a nice extra touch that I have not witnessed before. I realize this hotel is undergoing a face lift, but I truly thought it was fantastic as it was, so the new changes will be just an added bonus. This is the hotel that I recommend to my friends who I know are wanting to stay in the Time Square area. I hope that with the new improvements, the nightly rates will not increase to the point that I would not be able to afford this wonderful hotel, for that I would be extremely disappointed.
