An excellent choice for a business trip. The hotel location is very accessible, a block away from the busy-traffic streets, which makes it a very quiet and comfortable place. Neat and inviting lobby that has plenty of room for chilling out, and a nice bar.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Renaissance M Street Hotel.

might recommend it to friends.

The location is handy to Metro and a shopping mall. I felt secure with their controlled access to the lobby.
This hotel made me feel secure: Key card access was required to access the downstairs elevators from the shopping mall area.

The place was great...the remodeled hotel is great. and the service was good too. I came in at 9am but couldn't check in until 3pm. That was the only drawback, but the hotel gave me a complimentary cheese plate for the inconvenience. The rooms were nice and modern. The bed was luxiorious. The only problem was the noise outside in the halls. The doors were so thin, that I could hear everything. But overall I would definitely recommend this place to travelers, because of its convenience to Dupont, Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, and other great places in that area.

It was close to major tourist sites and also within walking distance of a Whole Foods store. It was quiet and clean.
