Large hotel, close to Gatwick airport. Our room was large and nicely decorated. They had a restaurant, but the food was nothing we wanted to eat. They have a shuttle to the airport every 15mins for $2.50 British Pounds.

We booked this hotel a few days before we were due to fly out on holiday as we couldn't get a room at the hotel we normally stay at when travelling out of Gatwick. We chose this hotel due to its close proximity and we would be doing twilight check-in the night before, so we would need to hop in to the airport and back out again once we had arrived at the hotel.
On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to a club room for £30, the perks of this included free shuttle rides (£2.50 per person one way) for both my partner and I, free buffet breakfast (£16.00 each), free entrance to the club lounge - includes free drinks and desserts. We opted for this as it meant we ended up saving a lot of money. The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly throughout. We went for a meal in their restaurant that evening and for £25.95 each we had a 3 course meal that was fantastic! In fact I would go so far as to say it was the best meal I had the entire holiday, and I stayed in a 5 star Hotel!
The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and although I never really make use of the all you can eat element of this I did find myself nicely full until the meal on the plane.
