You don't have to be a fan of the Hollywood scene to be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of this region visible from your window in a room or suite at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. Some will care to know that this is the hotel where celebrities stand in waiting to receive their Oscars presented at the Kodak Theatre which is connected to the property. Staying at the Renaissance is a recommended experience, even for Southern California locals who want a change of pace. We spent only one night but are eager to return for another adventure. The Hollywood Hills with the famous HOLLYWOOD letters, skyscrapers of downtown Los Angeles, West Hollywood and the Pacific Ocean all glisten magically in the distance. Shopping, dining and even a Starbucks are outside your hotel door and at the bottom of the stairs are the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. What we enjoyed most was the variety of restaurants and bars in the connecting shopping plaza. From Wolfgang Puck's Vert to affordable cafe dining, there are over a dozen restaurants to explore and some interesting shops selling clothing, teas, shoes and gifts. Take some great photos, have fantastic meals and book a suite at the Renaissance. It would be a nice birthday gift for a friend, loved one or yourself.

It was in a very good area. The bell hops and the restaurant staff were very good. The desk staff was not the nicest and they told wrong information and then got rude. The housekeeping was not the best. They had not changed the bag in the ice bucket. I had walked in the room and there were towels and sheets on the floor and the chair.
I am not likely
to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel had a great location for a walking tour of Hollywood attractions. There was a problem with a road construction a block away but otherwise I would stay here again.
The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and the concierge was efficient and friendly. We were there for a business conference and the signage was good to direct us to the various meeting locations.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is outstanding, in every regard. The room had a spectacular view, it was central to everything we wanted to see and it was one of the very best hotel experiences we have ever had! I cannot wait to return!
It is adjacent to the Kodak Theater and it is the hotel they use for the Academy Awards.
I am very likely
to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was conveniently located to nearby shopping and dining and it had a great view. The conference amenities at the hotel were excellent and the rooms were adequate but comfortable and clean. My advice is to take a cab as parking is thirty dollars per day.
The staff was easy to talk to. The bed was comfortable as well as other furniture in the room.

Roof over our heads.Expensive. $30 valet parking for this hotel is outrageous. Handicapped access room was all that was available with king bed when we arrived in the early evening.

The room was comfortable. The pool was dirty, the spa was broken, they ran out of food at breakfast. I would not go back to this hotel. It was too far out of town, the pool was dirty, and the spa was broken. The breakfast was good, but they ran out...

Our server was excellent.Nothing I can think of. The hotel/staff was wonderful. My 13 year old daughter was impressed; when you can impress a teenager, you know you are doing something right. Our server during breakfast on 8/24 was great-very...
