It was a very nice hotel located near many attractions in Hollywood.

This hotel made me feel content: It was a very nice hotel and it made me feel extravagant.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

There was nothing special about the hotel, except that it was close to certain sites. But there was really nothing special for the price of the room.

I am not likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The hotel is in a great location; it's in the middle of Hollywood, near great shopping at Hollywood and the Highland complex. It has a nice and friendly staff.

25 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

My friends and I stumbled onto Hollywood to pass the time while waiting for “The Price Is Right.” We showed up on a Saturday and called their number at about 1pm (We had made no previous reservations). We were told we would have a two bedroom suite with king sized beds. Upon check-in though we went up to our room and found it to be a one room suite with two queen sized beds. We immediately went back down and we were informed that they have no two bedroom suites. We were tired and sweaty from the 100+ degree heat so we took what was offered, which was a 1 bedroom suite with a king sized bed and a pull-out in the main room.

It was very clean and the bathroom was spacious, with separate dual sinks. Two television sets and a nice coffee machine, but the coffee supplied (Wolfgang Puck) was pretty bad and no microwave or mini-fridge that you can self stock. The mini-fridge is only a mini-bar. The King size bed was comfortable and everything felt "new". The ironing board was a pain as it doesn't stand with even weight distribution, but that shouldn't bother people that don’t pack their clothes in a garbage bags like I did.

The valet service was pretty professional and speedy, as was room service. Everyone was helpful, except the front desk and their poor ability to properly communicate. All in all, though I've stayed at 3 star hotels that were far more pleasurable than this and since our one night stay with valet service cost us $355 USD total, the value was tremendously poor. The bartenders in the lobby bar were quite good though and made the drinks strong enough for us to forget this place. I really would only recommend this place for a family that 1: Wants to be as closed to possible to Hollywood, 2: Regard money as no object and 3: Does not plan to use the room as anything but a pit stop.

I am not likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel is very centrally located for the tourist spots in Hollywood. I generally dislike hotels, and I am a bit of a germophobe, and this is the first hotel I have been to that is absolutely spotless. It is very comfortable. There is a mall next door, so if you run out of make-up, want Starbucks, or need an accessory to your outfit, it is right there at your fingertips.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk and concierge staff were always happy to help, were always smiling, and always polite.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Hotel. The location was wonderful; it had very good access to the subway/light rail system. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The food was out of this world. I would be very happy to stay there in the future.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I was greeted at the hotel door. The mints left on the pillow (only done by the staff on our floor -- according to others in our group) were a very nice and unexpected treat on the 4th of July.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We were going to a party at the Kodak Theater Grand Ballroom so it was the perfect location for us. The front desk person and security were very helpful. Self-parking is cheap but a bit of a pain since you have to walk quite a ways to get to the hotel.

The rack rate is $200+, but booking through Priceline, I always seem to get a rate of less than $100.

The hotel has a pool that no one uses. They also have a fairly good gym which isn't that crowded in the morning. The rooms are spacious and the staff is gracious. Valet parking is $20/day, although you can park in the adjoining structure for $15/day seems about usual for LA.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
