50 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Not happy with this outfit! This is not one of the premier or even 2nd string places to stay in Niagara. The pictures may hype the location but most rooms have a great view of the hotel across the street or less in the opposite direction. We arrived and were told Valet parking was the only option due to construction. Later, after waiting a considerable time for the return of the car, we decided walking would be quicker. Upon arrival we requested a cot for my daughter; we asked again the next morning as well, it never was delivered. The bathtub refused to drain, housekeeping was notified, again a no-show. I guess Canadians except standing in grey water when showering? The parking was $20 per day, when I complained I was told it was the standard rate for the area, regardless of the large sign across the street advertising $5 per day. When I pointed this out the desk operator seemed to go on the attack! We continued our stay down the street in a similar hotel (which waved the parking fee) but with a much better attitude. Still wondering if this is how other Renaissance properties treat their guest, I for one will never find out. I can see why AAA has dropped this Hotel from their list. The staff in a word ARROGANT!!!!!!!

35 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here. He surprised me with a weekend trip, and when I found out we were staying here, I was excited!! I took the virtual tour online, and it doesn't even do the hotel justice. It's gorgeous!!!! Our room was so beautiful, plus it had a view of the falls that was unreal. We loved it. The location is really good. It's pretty centrally located to all the attractions. Instead of taking cabs, we hoofed it everywhere. Most things were within walking distance. They have a great restaurant too.

Room was smaller than anticipated and view not as extravagant as pictured. Forget about the swimming pool its tiny and not pictured properly. Valet parking was inconvenient as you car is parked across the street and you have to call ahead to get your car and by the way is an extra charge of $20 per day. Rather dissappointed with whole stay and way more touristy than I expected. You will be gouged in the pocketbook no matter where you go. I personally will not be back forever.

If you are planning to stay anywhere else, don't! This hotel is wonderful for so many reasons. First of all, the rate was fantastic. It was at least 25.00 less a night than other hotels we called. When you're traveleing with a large family, 25.00 is a big deal! The hotel was great for kids too. The pool insdie the hotel has a waterfall. The kids loved it. We enjoyed the restaurant too. My husband and I both agreed that the room was the nicest we have ever stayed in. It was very clean, and offered a convenient set up. The location is superb. You are pretty close to all the major attractions...especially the falls!!!! Stop searching for another hotel!

23 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My girlfriend and I had really enjoyed our two night stay at the Renaissance Fallsview Hotel last weekend. The staff were very professional about their work and the front desk were very courteous when we checked in and out. The rooms were very nice and comfy. Our room was on the 16th floor and we had a magnificent view of the Horseshoe Falls. The view was unreal at night. The location of the hotel is close to all the attractions, dining, Clifton Hill, casinos and the falls. Everything is within walking distance, no need driving around. The best part is the price of the hotel! I thought we got excellent value for about $120 per night!
