Small room, otherwise nice – Posted Jun 12, 2008

Good
20 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I stayed here with a group of about 100 other students. The Renaissance North Shore has a beautiful, comfortable lobby, nice meeting spaces for larger groups, and a good location, right across from the highway where all the MetLife car insurance commercials were filmed. My room was very small, perhaps because I was with a group, but all the other amenities at this hotel made up for it.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

Okay
56 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

Only one of the bedside outlets worked. I had to choose between using the lamp or the alarm clock. I had to change my reservation from three nights to two nights. I called ahead to inform the hotel, I was told it was no problem, but I was initially billed for three nights.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

Good

The Information Book found in room was outdated. The hotel had a great location, the beds and the linens were wonderful and the service was good.

The location was excellent, the staff was all helpful and they left the hot tub opened after hours since we arrived late and I was in pain.

I am very likely to return to the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This hotel is a renovated Sheraton - and if it weren't for the fact that I have family in the area, I would not have stayed there. I will not stay there again.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.
