I really like this hotel. It's not new, but downtown Asheville is walkable from here. We've stayed in other downtown hotels in Asheville, but found the noise bothersome. This hotel has a good deal of charm associated with hotels that have been ar

Good
Love the location and the staff. The cost per room is below $200, which is a deal especially in downtown Asheville. You are walking distance from downtown and all the wonderful shops. They have a full-service bar with awesome service. Parking isn't...
41 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I traveled to Asheville to attend a wedding. Upon arrival, the wedding party rooms were not available and the management did not feel distressed or anxious to remedy the situation in any way.
I am not likely
to return to the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We stayed in this hotel because of wedding arrangements. It was ok for the money but we would have preferred to stay elsewhere. However, it did meet our expectations. Negatives were that it was a bit further from the center of the town than the reservation agent implied and the directions to get to it by car from the interstate were just abysmal.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
46 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The rooms were a nice size and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom seemed a little small. We were disappointed that it was a totally non smoking hotel. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

They have a pleasant staff, good clean accommodations and the hotel is convenient to everything you could possibly want. There are minimum twelve restaurants within one quarter of a mile, a theater across the street, three shopping stores across the street and much more. It is a good place to stay.
They upgraded the beds and the upgrade was wonderful. This was a business trip and all of our needs were met with prompt assistance and friendliness.
I am very likely
to return to the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
