The surrounding nature invites calm and relaxation; the hotel offers a pleasant way to pass the time. Relais Villa Baldelli is ready to envelop its guests in its charm and surround them with its attentions.
The five senses awaken as soon as one proceeds between green lawns and splendid plants along the avenue that leads to the front of the marvellous building housing Relais Villa Baldelli, a country house dating from 1600 that takes its name from the Cortonese family who, for many years, made it their summer residence.
A meticulous restoration has preserved its true character and fine original architectural elements, combining the elegance of the original building with all the comfort, services and facilities of a sound hotel tradition. The grounds host an elegant swimming pool for relaxation, a spacious patio surrounded by majestic ancient oak trees, vineyards and olive groves, and a charming well in working order; inside, the Relais offers elegant and welcoming communal areas decorated with old prints and period paintings. Villa Baldelli is the perfect solution for anyone choosing this select accommodation for its location and the various opportunities the area offers: an unusual archaeological itinerary, stirring horseback riding through woodland, and the pleasure of personally witnessing the marvels of art.

The owners bought the building, in it?s abandoned state, a few years ago with the intention of restoring it to its former glory and tranforming it as a charming ?relais? with every modern comfort whilst faithfully keeping it?s original design. The external architecture remains as it was with it?s irregularly placed windows, brick arches and doorways in worked ?pietra serena?.
