40 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Very poor customer service. No smiles and only marginal help. Appeared like we were only a bother not a valued customer. I overhead one of the maids complaining about how full the hotel was because she had so much work to perform.

Located on 4th and 5th in Downtown Calgary just blocks away from everything you need. The service provided at the hotel was superb with a wonderful staff. Towels and such were provided adequately however, I did notice several stains on some of them. The suite we had almost made it feel like a medium sized condo just like home. Though I can't say the price was amazing but then again it was during Calgary Stampede when no hotel had vacancy.
Be careful with your reservation numbers this place does not honour verbal cancellations, even those left on voice mail! Besides that rooms are small and hotel is in a bad part of downtown. Definately not somewhere to stay with kids - don't go ...

Regency suites is a great place to stay. The front desk staff are excellent and extremely helpful. The location is perfect in downtown and close to great restaurants and major shopping centres. Will definitely go back.
