Regency Inn and Suites Downey Motel

I stayed there because I was in the area to meet with C&G Trailer, a certified Airstream Repair shop on a Saturday morning, in Bellflower. The clerk at the desk asked me to sign a contract that "the person [I] was with was my husband/boyfriend". Since I was alone, I crossed out that portion of the contract. The clerk then asked me if I was alone, or if there was anyone with me. Really, I am a 46 year-old Caucasian overweight middle-class physician, wife of 23 years and mother of 2. I AM NOT TURNING TRICKS! By the way, the web page shows a lake, and someone bringing a tray of food to their loved one, when in fact, there is no nearby lake, and the minimal breakfast is on a counter, with no lounge etc.

I stayed at the Regency Inn in Downey, California last weekend and it was absolutely the best hotel in the area! The service was fantastic, the rooms were great, the pool and lounge area warm and inviting. And best yet, the location was perfect! Only 15 minutes from Los Angeles and Long Beach, I had a great time here and would definitley come back. Check out their website, I booked a weekend package for a great rate.
