Regency Inn Monteagle Motel - Page 1

Rented a room for the night and when wife and I went in the toilet was full of piss. Smelled like it was there for days. Also mirror was filthy with soap scum. Finally a toilet plunger was in the middle of the room. Absolutely disgusting and this hotel should be reported for uncleanliness. Asked for complete refund and was refused according to ashley front desk person. Manager would not return my calls nor did he want to speak to me as he was unavailable to speak with me everytime I called.

The staff and management are rude and obnoxious.

We checked in and decided to treat ourselves to a jacuzzi suite after a long day of travel. We got our keys, drove down to the local pizza place to grab a bite to eat then came back. When we got in the room to go to the bathroom there was hair all over the tub, then I found used soap and soap scum all over the jacuzzi. I pulled the covers back and there was pubic hair in the bed. We went down to the desk and they offered us another suite so we looked and it was as dirty as the first one. When we demanded our money back the manager accused me of being a prostitute and trying to screw him out of money! It would have been funny if it wasn't so horribly offensive. You can definitely tell I look like a traveler from Illinois in a minivan - not a prostitute... lol. They then told us we only had 30 minutes to dispute the room (something they did not tell us at check in) and told us too bad no refund. We had to call the cc company to dispute the charges. the MOST HORRIBLE place I have ever been in. It was GROSS!

Nasty, nasty, nasty place.....rooms were disgusting....disgusting enough that even if they did clean it. It looked like drug addicts just left it as we moved in. If drug addicts didn’t just leave then seems like drug addicts cleaned it. Ashes in ashtrays, pillows torn up, vents hanging off walls in bathroom, bed was suppose to be one full size. They put two singles together and one teetered as you slept and rolled. Feces on walkways outside your doorstep, so old that they were turned white. Desk attendant was rude, and very unhelpfull. Even asked if we wanted a phone in our room or not. Very, very dissatisfied! Will never go back there again. We would advise anyone to go to another motel in the area, even if you have to pay the extra 10 dollars.

The beds are ok, for the price and there is really good wifi coverage. I'm not real picky, but for the price, it is an ok place to spend the night. about $28 or 33 bucks per night including taxes. Although the advertising had rates of $23 and up. If you are a picky person, you might want to check out the rooms first.
