This hotel *used* to be a good place to stay - good location, reasonable price, decent rooms, good night's sleep. This past weekend I found the rooms to be run-down, including things like saggy mattresses, a barely functional light switch, poorly draining sink, and generally dingy. Worse yet was the noise - people coming and going at all hours, talking loudly, drinking, etc. - I was happy to get some sleep between 3:30 and 6:30 am. When we called the front desk at 3am to complain about the noise, the desk person said "they must be drunk" --- gee, really? Interestingly, there were dog show people staying at the hotel, and other than a bit of barking during daylight hours, the dogs were far quieter than some of the guests. I wondered if some were "permanent" residents of the RR.

The location is great, being right off the interstate. The rooms were okay. The staff is very friendly.

It was easy to get to places I needed to go. I did not ask for advice. I had one room that did not smell good so I got another room. The reserved rooms were not located as requested.

This is a bad hotel. I tried 5-6 rooms over a two day stay. All of the rooms had a bad smell, and all the non-smoking rooms still smelled like smoke. The blankets were dirty and stained. The bathrooms were disgusting. The employees were slow, rude, and the manager was very argumentative and unwilling to comply with simple demands. Don’t stay here.

Everything was fine, we just needed a place to stay and that was what we did.
