Red Roof Inn Washington Hotel

The rooms were a bit dirty but overall I had a very comfortable stay.

They seemed to not have enough extra towels and washcloths. We needed about five towels and four washcloths per day but they never could seem to provide that many even though we asked each day.

It's only a block or so from the Judiciary metro stop and it's in an upcoming neighborhood with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The hotel is new and lacks a bit of character.

It's within walking distance to downtown, Chinatown and the Hill is less than a twenty-five minute walk away. The room I had was adequate if you just need a comfortable bed and a TV to watch. The on site restaurant has a great Irish pub atmosphere with Irish food that isn't too expensive for the prices in D.C.

The front desk night clerk was excellent. He helped us with our travel and dining plans. The hotel was clean and in excellent condition. The room was excellent. The location was the best for tourists visiting District of Columbia for sightseeing. It is close to everything. The neighborhood near the hotel is not the nicest you can find, but it is safe and we encountered no problems. There were nice restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely go there again.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The staff answered our many questions quickly, courteously and accurately. Our needs in the room were promptly addressed.
