Red Roof Inn Manhattan Hotel

This hotel does have a great location. If poor service, a rude manager, a conceriege who is more interested in her nails and texting than you, reservations that are changed despite confirming three times in advance and rates that are also changed in excess of 75 dollars over what you confirmed don't bother you, than you'll love this hotel and its great location. It seems this hotel is a franchise and Red Roof Inn Corporation can do nothing regarding anything problems that occur at this hotel. If you have any kind of problem you will have to deal with the manger, whom Red Roof Inn Corporation acknowledges is difficult to deal with; any complaint you lodge with Red Roof Inn Corporation will simply be given back to the manager of the New York hotel. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are other hotels in the Mid-town Manahattan area, with posted rates that are more expensive, but when your lower rate is not honoured at this hotel and you pay a higher rate than you expected anyway, why not pay it at a hotel where you will recieve much better service?
