Excellent
I would rate this hotel/motel as one of the best in this price range. My room was spacious and very clean. Bed comfort was comparable to that of a luxury hotel. It is conveniently located near the interstate (yet quiet), a large shopping mall...

Good
I was fairly impressed with the staff and services provided. Very kind and genuinely helpful staff. The issues regarding housekeeping could easily be resolved by just informing the front desk of when you are leaving so they can gauge when to...

Good
We needed a place to stay overnight on our travels for college campus visits. This hotel offered a discount through an online travel agency, and turned out to be a great deal for the price. The check-in was quick, place was clean, and quiet. It...

Good
The Red Roof Inn was in a nice neighborhood in Madisons east side. So easy to get to from I94. Room was very cost friendly. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. No big deal. I will stay there again when I am passing through Madison.

This was a wonderful hotel for the price. It was a little hard to find since they are tucked away between a few other hotels and Yahoo Maps was off on the directions, but we were able to call the front desk & they talked us right in. The service ...
35 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for business
It was clean, and it looked okay. The people were nice. But...there is no kitchenette. The bathroom sink is out in the bedroom but that hardly does the trick. There is no freezer. The internet costs 6 dollars per login. The room, even though it says no smoking, smelled like smoke. The bathroom was tiny and most of the space was taken up by the toilet. No water softener system. No place to do laundry. It's in a strange location, very hard to find and nothing but strip malls in every direction. Lot of traffic getting into the city.
I would not recommend this hotel

Horrible
I would not recommend this hotel because to get to the lobby, you have to walk outside of the building and walk to another side of the building. Very bad for January weather.
It's not fancy, but I was able to get some good rest. I would go back. There was a slight problem with service in the morning, but that situation was addressed promptly by management, exceeding my expectation.
We made a stop here after we got caught in a snow storm on our way down to Illinois from Minneapolis. The room was very clean and had looked like it had been recently remodeled. The only complaint that I have is that the walls seemingly are paper...

We've stayed twice a year, once in the summer and once around Christmas for the last 6 years. We'll be visiting them in a couple weeks and looking forward to staying. We always have friendly customer service, clean rooms - now even nicer...
