Red Roof Inn Hilton Head Island Hotel

Stayed here last summer '07 in completely renovated room. Very nice & quiet. Short drive to beach & best breakfast location on the island right next door - Stacks Restaurant. Lots of trees - clean pool. Nice staff.

I was on Hilton Head Island between 6/1 and 6/4. Our room had roaches, and I mean roaches (big ones and baby ones). The decor was suitable. The floor was damp. The staff was helpful overall, except for a couple less than accommodating personnel. They did allow us to check in early. Check-out process was less than acceptable. In a good central location on the island for the price. The continental breakfast consisted of a coffee machine (run of the mill vending machine coffee), pre-packaged Sara Lee Danishes of a variety, and a juice machine, all nestled in the corner of the office on a countertop. Nothing special about it but it's free. The office was clean, with nice simple decor. I would not stay here again because of the roaches.

The hotel had a good location, a fair price and it was available when I needed it.

The hotel is good value for the location. They have a friendly staff.

The hotel had a lovely location, central to island services and tucked away in a pleasant natural setting.
