Good
The staff is great and discrete, the rooms are clean and perfect to run away with my best half and enjoy a weekend. Close to the isle casino it was fun and cheap.

Okay
Room was OK but noise from nearby transit train was a big annoyance. Hotel moved me to a room further from the track. An improvement but still a noisy location.

The guest room had a bad commode leak. The water ran under the wall and into the carpet by the side of one bed. The staff was quick to place us in another room which was fine. The room, however, was not furnished with shampoo, extra towels, a hair dryer, coffee and coffee maker, an iron and ironing board. No extras whatsoever were provided. We got only a small package of face tissues.
I am not likely
to return to the Red Roof Inn Ft Lauderdale.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I recommend that you do not stay at this hotel! It has an inadequate staff and assistance, the facility is in disrepair, there is only one elevator working. There are no luggage trolleys. It is dirty and smelly. There are drug deals taking place in public areas and outside the rooms. The room was disgusting, it was dirty, and it had a filthy bathroom. You couldn't close the drapes because they fell off the track. When I asked the front desk for assistance, they rudely asked what I wanted them to do about it. There was noise all night, as well as fighting, and yelling of very foul language. I waited in line for over an hour in the morning for the complimentary shuttle, which was one of the main reasons for staying at this place, to the pier and never saw it once! I ended up paying for a cab. The Red Roof should dump this place!
