Red Roof Inn Elyria Motel

The hotel is very clean, with hospitable employees and good breakfast.

I would never stay at a Red Roof hotel again. The bathroom was small. The toilet overflowed. The lighting went out. I had to be relocated to another room. The staff did not have knowledge on how to handle emergency problems. I was called at two o'clock in the morning to see what room we had been moved to. The room was not cleaned one day and I had to call them to come and clean. It was the worst experience I have ever had at any place of lodging.

I was in a non-smoking room, but the people in the room next to us were smoking. The smoke smell was so strong in our room that it was as if someone was smoking in our room. We informed the front desk staff of the issue, but either nothing was done about it or the people staying in the room next to us just did not care.

I enjoyed my time there.
