This hotel was exceptionally good for its price point. It's no 5 star resort in looks, the hotel itself is your run-of-the-mill budget road-side hotel. The service however, was much more. The staff was extremely friendly, to the point that it felt like you were talking to a close friend at check-in. The rooms were nothing exciting, pretty plain walls, and decoration, but this was fine with me. There were many nice touches such as shampoo, a pocket pack of Kleenex, plenty of cups, etc. The TV had a video game system attached to it, which, dated as it may have been, was an interesting touch (too bad I was too tired to use it much). In the morning there was coffee, but not just plain coffee, there were probably 8-10 choices including flavored coffees, mocha, hot cocoa, etc. The bed was large, and comfortable.
The only down side I saw was the road noise ... being right off I-94 this is not a quiet hotel. This wasn't a problem for me, but if your a light sleeper, you might want ear plugs.
