Red Roof Inn BWI Airport Motel

Hotel staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful! Room was in great shape!! Will stay here again! I gave it an 8 because the pillows weren't the best, but other than that my stay here was fine!

I got stranded at BWI and found this to be the closest, least expensive, least scary economy hotel right by the airport.

The location is excellent, and they have an acceptably-priced "park and fly" option. T-Mobile Wi-fi access is supposedly available in all rooms. I opted for the "business" class room, which bundled internet, and local/long distance voice calls into the room rate for the same price as 1 night of T-Mobile hot spot access.

The room was clean, the amenities were minimal (no iron? no ironing board?), but I was clearly in a discount hotel. Still, I've stayed in far worse places, and I feel like got very good value for what I received.

The only plus was the location. Everything else was bad. From the staff to the room, everything was nasty. I found black mold on the wall, and I got sick from that.

The desk attendant was very helpful with directions to the car rental site. The shuttle driver was very courteous, helpful and friendly. The house maintenance staff was extremely courteous to help with a problem in the room. I would stay there again.

I liked the good location to the airport.
