The breakfast wasn't that impressive, but that was the only negative thing I could find about my stay.
The rooms were comfortable and very clean for the price, and the people working the night shift made me feel very safe. This hotel used to be the old Kobuk and they have truly turned a hotel that was once a bad part of town into a simple and cozy place.
Also, for those of you planning on staying with the Red Roof, be advised that there is no elevator and I am sure they get complaints about that.
But after two other more-then-poor stays at other hotels in Anchorage, that cost quite a bit more, I will be returning to the Red Roof in the future.
