We checked out early from a hotel that was terrible but closer to our business event to check into the Red Roof. It was, as I mention, further away, but it could not have been worse than this other hotel.
The access road to the Red Roof is a bit tricky to find, and there are no elevators which was a KILLER for my knee. But other than those two things, this hotel was a savior! Clean rooms. Helpful staff (that helped me carry my bags and cooler on the way down). Decent views. GREAT breakfast (waffles, for FREE. No bad odors or treatment by staff. This was a good hotel where I'd stay again.
It had easy access to the interstate. Although, one couple in our group stayed on the freeway side of the hotel and it was loud for them. We were very comfortable on the other side. The staff was very accommodating.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: We were originally booked somewhere else. That hotel made a mistake and it did not book us for the right amount of rooms. The Red Roof staff made me feel at ease since I was so aggravated with the other place. They were very helpful and they got us what w
