I stayed on this hotel for one night. The floor was as filthy as it can be. Roaches roaming around. The air felt thick with terrible odor. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was the high point and it wasn't anything to write home about. If you have no vehicle and relied on their airport shuttle, you are stuck without any food options within walking distance except for their own house restaurant. At this location, my wife and I experienced the worse service of our lives. After waiting far too long, (and watching one couple leave in disgust), we finally had a waitress come up who took our orders. We went with their cheapest meal option, the waitress messed it up but I just said fine I'll eat it when it finally appeared. During this time we watched three other people refuse their food and send it back to the kitchen, never a good sign. Afterward, when inquiring about the supposed desert that was included in the meal as clearly stated on the menu, a different waitress (not the same one who took our orders mind you) came up and argued with me that I didn't actually order the hamburger meal, but that I had ordered the soup and hamburger a la carte off the lunch menu (I didn't even realize that was possible, and it cost more the way she was spinning it). I was tired of arguing, but now I know why they have a mandatory 18% gratuity included in the price (also a $3 charge for sharing a plate...nice). If they didn't have the auto gratuity, they wouldn't ever be tipped with that kind of service. As if that weren't enough, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes and had to talk to multiple people to actually receive our check. This was the first time I've ever had the urge to walk out of a restaurant without paying. Terrible service, no class, tacky decor, and future travelers, pay the extra money to stay at a decent place where you aren't trapped into horrendous food and service.

This hotel (in my opinion) is an ok stay. I go here as my backup (such as real late night arrivals in FLL). Not my first choice but acceptable. They do have a good pool and staff is good/helpful and generally friendly. Hotel is dated and needs remodeled but they do a reasonable job with housekeeping. Carpets are aged in most rooms. I usually book room online for discount rate in the mid-$50's. Walk up is 65-89 per night (plus tax) depending upon season. This is a hotel that somewhat caters to truckdrivers because they have the parking for it. I have never eaten at the restaurant there. I have stayed here probably about 6 times (always for 1 night).
