Hotel is having some capital issues, but the services out weights the bad. The best staff I ever seen. Give them a product with sleeping rooms and meeting space, this will work for them.

This hotel gives Ramada a bad name. The walls have dents and stains that are just nasty. The capet has stains. The rooms smells moldy. There was mold in the bathroom and in the A/C unit. We had to move to a new room because the toilet was broke and the A/C did not work. A friend's room flooded. We stayed n this hotel last year and were told that repairs were going to be made. Well we came back this year and the hotel was worse. Please fix it or tear it down.

Ramada Plaza Hotel Macon, Macon, GA May 3-7, 2008 Our group of approx. 200 people has stayed at this hotel annually, for as long as I can remember, some years it has been bad, but it has never been as bad as it was this year. Although this hotel is convenient for our conference members to downtown Macon, I will gladly give up convenience for a hotel that is clean, well kept and fully staffed in the future! I was EMBARRESSED for our out of state guests to be exposed to such a low quality, poor excuse of a hotel. Not Enough Staff No Valet Parking. Only ONE BELLHOP per shift. Not enough Housekeeping Staff to accomodate guests needs anywhere in the hotel, including the in house restaurant. It was a major ordeal to get linens, ice other necessities for the hospitality room. NASTY in DIRE NEED OF REMODEL Parking Garage is DIRTY, UNKEPT, DIMLY LIT UNSECURED, with NO APPARENT SECURITY. Guests Rooms, Lobbies (both Upper Lower) and meeting rooms showed much disrepair and lack of attention to housekeeping. Room provided for our conference hospitality room was an eyesore! Ceiling tiles were filthy, Walls,Carpet, upholstered chair bottoms were all stained, damaged and/or filthy. Tablecloths were wrinkled, perhaps some of them had been previously used and not laundered, but put on the tables after being pulled from a pile of dirty linens or something. Badly Soiled/Damaged Wallpaper was the norm throughout this hotel, having water/moisture stains and sloppy patch jobs after some sort of repair work (perhaps plumbing)had been done. Elevators in need of maintenance or repair work, not working several times during 4 day stay. Ice machines on several floors did not work. Several guests had problems with taking showers. Problems ranged from No Water Pressure, No Hot or Cold Water and Water going off in middle of shower, not to come back on until much later in the day. Some guests had problems with things being stolen from their rooms while they were away. Housekeeping would close guests room door completely, while cleaning room, which seems to be an unusual practice in my experience of staying in other hotels. Strange Half-Sheets on the beds. Sheets barely covered top of mattress, with elastic bands holding the corners of the sheets on the beds. No TV guides were provided in guests rooms. I HOPE TO NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

This hotel needs an update. The bed was broken, pillows were all different, parking is impossible and valet's are not to be found when car is needed. Poor customer service.....a Ramada product will never be my choice again.

The location is convenient to downtown and nearby restaurants and businesses. My advice is to make reservations early. This hotel fills up a lot during the week and the weekends, too.
I am very likely
to return to the Ramada Plaza Macon.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
