I reservation request a non smoking room but smoking request are not guaranteed. The room reeked of smoke. The bed linens smelled, the drapes were yellow from the smoke. Could not air the room out because the balcony (which we paid extra for)...

If you're looking for a primo location for having some fun in New Orleans- this hotel is for you! It's located smack-dab in the middle of Bourbon Street and you just can't beat going bar-hopping while also being able to retire to your hotel within a short walking distance or being able to use your own clean restroom over a bar bathroom.
Just know that if you're staying on Bourbon, you're not going to get a quiet stay. Part of the appeal is being able to stumble back to your room after a long night out. The halls tend to be very noisy and despite the thick doors on the balconies, there's still a lot of outside noise.
If you're lucky enough to get a balcony room on Bourbon, make sure to bring some Mardi Gras beads to toss to passer-bys.
The service is pretty mediocre and the valet parking is probably the most frustrating experience you'll ever have but it's still worth it despite the 30 minute wait for your vehicle. The prices are good and it's seriously the safest place for your vehicle.
The rooms are very clean (surprisingly) and there's even a security guard checking to make sure that everyone who enters off the street has a room key which makes this hotel a little safer.
Not a family hotel by any means but it's a great vacation spot to experience the New Orleans nightlife.
pros: Easy access to all French Quarter AttractionsWe loved our stay at the Inn on Bourbon Street. We had a balcony on the street and we could see all the night life and go back inside close the door and leave it there. The rooms were luxurious not...

Horrible
Called on April 23rd to make reservation, called on April 25th to cancel the reservation (plenty of time to cancel with no cancellation penalty). I wrote down the agent's name, but did not record the cancellation number (never had to use it before)....
Realizing that the hotel was located directly on Bourbon, we knew it would be a little noisy. However, we didn't know it would be like actually sitting in the bar. We got no sleep. When the bars closed, it was time for the garbage trucks to...
Get a room with a balcony overlooking Bourbon St. Fabulous! Nothing like having your coffee out on the balcony the next morning. And the rooms are great...

Our stay at the inn on Bourbon was excellent. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the price was very good for the quality. If we visit New Orleans again we will definitely considering staying there again and we would recommend it highly to anyone.
There was always someone at the door to open it for us as we came and went. We originally had a room with no balcony and they were more than happy to move us to one with a balcony over the pool. The staff was always kind and courteous and ready to help.
I am very likely
to return to the Ramada Plaza Hotel The Inn on Bourbon.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
