female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This hotel is disgusting. There were ants all over the room. The bathroom was broken (we had to use the public bathroom across the courtyard, as there were no other rooms to move to). The amenities are old and not well-kept. The air conditioner didn't work. The pool was dirty, old, and only filled about half way (2ft. deep at most). When I complained about the conditions to both the hotel and the company that I booked the hotel through, the hotel wouldn't refund ANY of my money--most likely because if they refunded money when people complained, they'd be paying people to stay there. This place is disgusting. DO NOT stay there.

The title says it all. I stayed at this hotel July 8-9th 2009 and received over 60 bed bug bites the second night. The first night I attributed a few bites to settling in and maybe the ants that also seemed to be well settled in the bathroom. The second day was the full-fledged attack during an afternoon to evening nap. I spent the rest of the second evening on the floor.
The staff was initially informed of my first night problems and of course the subsequent second night horror. I was quickly ushered out of check-out with a brief apology and a one night comp. Please be aware, the hotel appears spotless and otherwise well maintained. The corporate office duly noted the problem, thanked me for reporting it but informed me the hotel is not under their "ownership" but a private individual whose correct contact information they did not have. You have been warned.

They did let me leave my car for 5 days while away on my trip.I had problems with every room they gave me. The first of which was occupied. Dirty lobby. Filthy elevator. Staff at the desk was very distracted and really not attentive. The final room...

While attempting to get a quote for an extended stay, approx. two months while I work in the area, I was put on hold twice for more than 5 minutes both times and never got an answer. Looks like Ramada doesn't need the few thousand dollars I would have payed to stay there. I will be informing other incoming co-workers.

The lobby was nice as well as the pool area. The room was in poor repair although was fairly clean. The air conditioner did not work and therefore the room was very warm. This hotel for the price is ok for a one night stay to catch an early flight or arrive on a late flight. The shuttle to the airport was on time.

The hotel had a good location, near major highways and a shuttle from LAX airport. The room service came in while we were in, she did not reply to us when we answered her knock, just came in when we did not want her to.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Ramada Plaza Hotel LAX/El Segundo.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room had several defects and many non functioning items. It had a bad showerhead, a leaky sink, a broken hairdryer, no toilet paper and malfunctioning elevators. There was no parking at night.
I am not likely
to return to the Ramada Plaza Hotel LAX/El Segundo.
I would not recommend it to friends.
