Ramada Plaza Hotel Augusta

The staff at the check-in desk was friendly and helpful. The lounge was not great and the bartender was not friendly at all. If you were looking for a place to have some drinks and share your stories with the bartender this was not the answer.

The number of the rooms reserved was wrong. The air conditioners did not work in several reserved rooms. The bathroom ceiling of my personal room collapsed. It was difficult obtaining a refrigerator for medicines. The elevator smelt of urine. The location, while being close to downtown, was of questionable safety given a loud and unruly nightclub down the street. The open bar and club on the top floor often attracted noisy individuals. The hot water boiler was not sufficient and it often left the hotel with only ice water for showers.
