Excellent
We recently were in Pigeon Forge for my son's wedding and stayed at the Ramada Inn. Being in the hositality industry myself, I am quite picky about my accomodations. I found this hotel to be wonderful. The staff at the front desk were great. Our ...
I have been staying at this hotel for years at least 3 or more time a year . the staff is great if I need to book a show the called for me. the rooms are great. the staff are very freindly. I go and talk with them every morning that I am there....
This hotel charged me twice and has been a nightmare to deal with to get that second charge refunded back to my card. It messed up our vacation by not having access to those tied up funds. They could not have cared less, staff was so rude, uncaring...
33 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Pros: Housekeeping was great, room was clean and comfortable and convienently located near Music Road area theaters etc. Half of the staff is extremely friendly.
Cons: I used their build a package service thru their website to let them get me tickets for shows etc. They messed up tickets and neglected to order one for my child to one show. Bad seats at all shows. I paid extra for this service mind you. No apology, no compensation. This would be a very nice service if they got it right or fixed mistakes, the girl who handled this was very nice and professional but she wasn't there whent he mistake happened so I had to deal with others.
They double charged my card, I have filed a case with Ramada corporate about this and still don't have my money back. Its been very frustrating and it ruined our trip to have those funds tied up. We had to make due with cash in pocket because of this. No apologies. The staff, Sue & Glenn were extremely rude and unprofessional, I have never had such a bad experience at a hotel in my life because of those two. They said no managers or supervisors were in the hotel at my time of check out when I wanted to complain. SO i had no recourse but to call Corporate Offices and call the manager the next day. He was very nice and said he will get on it but I've yet to hear back or get my money. No apology, no compensation or offer to take charges off the bill for all this or anthing. Even at a restaurant when they mess up your food they offer the meal for free or offer to go make you something else. These people aren't good at customer service and it's going to hurt their reputation and its sad because this hotel has potential.
The continental breakfast isn't worth stopping by for, you will have to go out to eat anything decent and their pool, elevator and side hallway were dirty and nasty. The kind of dirty where you hold on to your kids and say "honey don't touch anything" and go straight for the hand sanitizer. It's weird tho because the room seemed clean, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Its like this hotel is bipolar, one extreme or another, no consistancy. You get off a nasty graffit strewn elevator then walk into a lovely clean room, Strange. I hope the manager straightens these rude people out or fire them tho because you should never talk to a customer the way they did. Since they wouldn't let me speak to a manager I began to tell Sue what all was wrong and she snipped "Well I guess you should have just checked out the first day then huh?" When another customer who was having trouble sorting out an overcharge overheard us and asked me was I have problems too and I answered that I had been double charged and tickets messed up and thye don't seem to care or want to help me now that they have my money, Glenn snipped "You have no right to talk to other guests about it, take your purse off my counter and leave we're done with you".
I was shocked. This hotel still has offered no apology. I did not curse or raise my voice. I was simply upset, wanting a manager and wanted my money credited back and an apology for all the problems. Sue & Glen simply refused to let me speak to anyone, instead snapping "call corporate they have to listen to you".
Seriously its a good location and clean bedrooms, but because of the other problems and lack of apology and resolution to them, I wouldn't reccomend anyone stay here. It's Pigeon Forge theres like 900 hotels and cabins available even when its crowded, why bother with a place that messes up and doesn't apologize and fix it. Do you want to take a chance with them messing up your money?
We immediately did not like the hotel when we pulled into the parking lot. First, when we arrived, we had to grab a bell man cart and brought in our own luggage. Then, we had to go back to the concierge desk to ASK for the room number because the...
