35 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for business
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I appreciated their efforts. They cannot make up for how run down this hotel, however. The rooms are all supposed to be non-smoking but my room stunk like an ashtray...reminiscent of the stale smokey motels my family used to stay in when on vacation as a kid. The carpet was worn with stains and cigarette burns, and he furniture was showing a lot of wear. Not what I would expect from a Ramada. This place badly needs an upgrade. I would pass on this place.

to return to the Ramada Minneapolis NW & Water Park.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We chose not to add the waterpark passes because we would be busy with a hockey tournament all weekend. The waterpark is the only thing special about this hotel. The hotel pool was small with no tables or chairs unless you have a poolside room. ...

The hotel was fine...good value and the water park was great for the kids. The restaurant, however, was very bad. Very slow service and the food on the breakfast buffet was almost non-existent. They would run out of main dishes and not replace...

1 is too high for this filthy, dirty, unfriendly hotel with the worst service on the planet. I have stayed at many Ramada Hotels and it is hard to fathom that this is one of them....in name only! There was garbage everywere, stairwells and hallways just filthy. Horrible service in the restaurant..taking 50 minutes for a basic breakfast. Sweaty, dirty employees...just gross. If this was the last hotel in the world, I would sleep under a tree.

I had expected to stay at a much more modern business type hotel and instead ended up in a rather tired older style Days Inn type hotel. Rooms furnature was heavily stained as was the carpet. litter in the public areas. At Best this is a two star...

In 40 years of business and pleasure traveling I have never had such a horrible stay. Stains on the sheets, rips in the bed, stains on the chairs, no wake up calls no matter how many times you asked, dirty, dirty, dirty.
In the morning as I would head out to my business meetings I would have to step over bottles, wrappers and garbage just to get out the door. One day coming back to the hotel we had to step through Cheetos in our suits to get in. Front desk service very unfriendly and obviously understaffed. I would never stay in this hotel and it makes me question any Ramada at all!

Surprised that this place can keep 3 star status. I would rate it a 1. Stained sheets,dirty carpet,dirty pull out chair/bed,leak by bathroom toilet, mold on shower curtain, only 2 of 4 pieces of excercise equipment worked.(waterpark was great)...

The Water Park is a blast! Been to the Dells, won't go back when I have this place so close to home. Rooms are clean, spacious, and the water park staff was awesome! Biggest thing - the whole place was clean as a whistle!!!! Highly recommend.
