The stay was very comfortable and the service was good.

I am very likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.

It was a perfect location close to Disney and Universal. It was a fine hotel for the price, but I did not think it was the cleanest hotel. Overall it was just better than average.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.

51 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We liked the kids’ room in our family suite. The check-in was a bad experience due to the computers being down. It seemed like they should have a paper-based backup so reservations could still be taken care of. The pools were too small for all the families that were staying there. The Internet service was out more than it was on.

I am very likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a very clean comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel made me feel secure: There were always people around that worked there. It was well lit and we felt very safe.

The lighting of the pool area was very dark and did not look inviting. It also looked like they were trying too hard to be family-friendly.

The location was good; close to Disney World, etc. The room/suite was very nice, with a separate area for the children with a bunk bed and twin bed. The wait to check in was quite long (about 10 minutes).

I am somewhat likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.

They could have had better lighting in the room and pool area. The room could have been better concerning furnishings and carpeting.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They were polite and courteous.

51 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I mentioned at check-in that my daughter bought us the weekend package for our anniversary. We were given, I believe, an upgraded room with a king-sized bed and living room area. Everything was clean, the bathroom was updated. I think they are remodeling since our furnishings were a bit outdated, but clean is A-1 in my book!

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was friendly. They gave prompt attention to our room to check out the TV connection. They were always available to help and they smiled when greeting us.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.
I might recommend it to friends.

We chose this site to stay because we were promised a heated indoor pool. The indoor pool was so cold that most everyone except the bravest of children went in. We used the spa pool a lot, but it was overcrowded because the pool was not available for swimming.

This hotel made me feel practical: We were provided the basic needs. Nothing over or beyond the expected.

This was an average hotel, good for the tour group, but not what I would choose when traveling with just my family. We prefer Embassy Suites as a family. But the high school kids seemed pleased with the arrangements.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and hallway. The cleaning staff was very co-operative and friendly. The location was good since we had tickets for Universal Studios and the Arabian Nights Dinner show.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were clean and comfortable. The bath had plenty of towels and soap. The tub and the bathroom overall were clean.

54 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I got an excellent room for the money. The hotel has a good staff and facilities and is in a great location. However, the exercise room had a third of the equipment unusable, and the breakfast buffet was barely passable. I only ate there once, then ate at outside restaurants.

This hotel made me feel practical: The room and the hotel were extremely nice for the $45.00 per night rate.

I am very likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.

50 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

They couldn't cash my traveler's checks at the front desk and the woman picked up the register and showed me that she had no cash and was so sarcastic about it. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't carry enough cash to handle someone's traveler's checks. Also, we called room service for decaf coffee and it took a half hour for them to bring it to our room.

I am not likely to return to the Ramada Maingate West.
