Would not even rate this a 1. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a terrible experience. We arrived early and were told that check in was not until 3:00pm. Which, was fine, we were really early. We ended up going back at 2:15 to see if we could check in at that point and were told we had to wait until 3:00 exactly. We were only then checked in early because we sat in the lobby and patiently waited. I guess they were annoyed. The key cards to the rooms of everybody on our floor that day didn't work. Within 15 minutes of checking in and trying to get into our rooms, we along with many others decided to get our money back and get the heck out of there. The 3 people at the front desk were extremely rude. The gentleman before us in line after the key fiasco was a walk-in and received his money back. They tried to tell us that because we made reservations, we were not eligible for a refund. After about and hour of heated discussions with the general manager of the hotel, we were finally given our money back - but only after we told him he was discriminating against us because we were not walk-ins. He claimed the gentelman before us was only "checking out the hotel before he stayed", which we knew wasn't true because we talked to the guy directly and we were there behind him in line when his money was refunded back to him. Why would a walk-in be able to get their money back - but we couldn't because we made reservations? We also asked for a corporate phone number and were told that there was not corporate number to call - which was bologna. The hotel is dirty and nothing like the photos. We ended up getting a beach front hotel for less money after leaving this dump.

Stayed 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Ants in the room, door card problems, phone was broken (but fixed upon request), had to ask several times each day for enough towels for 4 people, they never ran vacuum in room the entire stay, entire staff was very unfriendly except for maybe 1 person we met at front desk, bathroom fan sounded like tractor trailer driving through room, hotel was dirty overall, bathroom was disgusting, had to call or go to desk every day for something, shampoo, soap, & washrags. Continental breakfast was OK but coffee tasted like motor oil. Missing electrical box covers with wires exposed in stairwells I passed through including pool area on roof. Guess I got what I paid for $160/night but it's not an excuse to be impolite and lax with service. I made the mistake of booking a smoking room with last minute plans. I was assured that the "industrial strength cleaners" made the smoking room smell just like any others. Smelled like an ashtray as expected but it was my fault.

No where to park/lock up bikes here and they do not provide a means to wash sand off body and beach gear. You must steal that service from hotel across the street.

Our sink was clogged, our iron was nasty, the ironing board was broken, and the whole overall appeal was not that great. However, it did the job for a quick one nighter.

The outside was not very appealing, the inside was dirty. The room was less than average. It was not dirty, but it was not clean. The air conditioner did not work. I tried to call the front desk, but there was no answer. The breakfast was less than average. There were 4 of us checking in, two towels in the bathroom. I read the reviews before I booked the room. I can not believe anyone would like staying here. If you are used to lower than average living, than this is your place to stay. I will never stay here again.

It was dirty, smelled terrible, and there were bugs. I cannot believe that this is a hotel.

Also, the hotel manager and other people are terribly hostile to guests.
