Ramada Limited Alpine Hotel

We were disappointed. My wife and I stayed in what was called a suite. The living and sleeping area was separated by an open dividing wall, but it was basically one room. The sofa and recliner in the living area were average motel quality. The bed was very hard and not at all comfortable.

We bought cookies from the vending machines on both floors that were a month past the sell by date. The staff was polite, but not really friendly. On a positive note, the breakfast was free and pretty good.

A so-so stay. The room had M&Ms up under the bed during our 2 day stay. The doorlock to the room did not latch correctly--Room 227. It left me feeling unsafe during the night. The sink drain did not shut properly. Water would either leak out quickly or if the plug was pushed in tightly, you could not get it to release without pushing up from underneath the sink.

I was given a clean room. The heater worked, and water was hot. I had a good full breakfast at 6:00 am even on a Sunday!

This hotel made me feel welcome: Even though there was a large party of non-English speaking students registering and they were having a local reception at the hotel, they were very open and efficient toward us.
