20 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I normally go to Savannah, GA every year with my parents and this year I stayed at the Ramada Limited in Pooler, GA (a suburb of Savannah). This hotel is around 20 minutes from the inner city of Savannah. If you have been to Savannah before, you would know this is not that far if you are not staying on a tight budget. The room itself was perfect. It is of average size for its type of hotel. It has a micro, fridge, TV with cable, and almost anything else you might need. I stayed there for almost two weeks and there was not a single roach to be found. This hotel is CLEAN.
The hotel also has a pool which is rather spacious and ranges from 3 to 8.5 feet deep. It is rather clean. You might find an occasional bug in it, but that is because it is next to the woods. They seem to keep up with it. It is by no means a dump. The water is comfortable; rain keeps it cool enough but the Georgia heat stops it from being frigid.
My only real problem is not with the hotel, but the exit itself. Unlike exit 94 down the road a bit, this exit is a bit lacking on restaurants. It has the basics such as waffle house and Wendy's, but it is lacking the all-important Shoney's of a budget vacation. For this, you must go down the road.
This hotel is also one of the cheapest hotels in Savannah for a family. It is around $50 a night, but cheaper if you get the weekly rate.

I loved the staff and the breakfast! My room was clean and although the building was older they have taken very good care of it. The mattress was like new and staff was very helpful with recommendations for area attractions and resturants.
