Ramada Inn on the Beach Hotel - Page 1

Stayed here for a 2-day seminar. Personnel not knowledgeable, no screens on doors to leave balcony doors open for fresh air (would save on energy of A/C) - little flies come in door. Also found cricket on floor next to night stand. No business center for use of a computer if you don't want to bring yours. Nickle and dime you on beverages with meals costing extra. They only provide coffee & coffee maker no tea. Bed not bad. Wil never stay at a Ramada again. Gave this one a try and historically every one has been very poor for the money.

No hotel guide in room describing amenties etc. Didn't know there was a pool.

It has been a few years since I have visited Virginia Beach, but when I go back I will definitely consider returning to this hotel. It's location is excellent--oceanfront and right on the boardwalk. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was also pleasant.

This place was lousy, stinky, dirty and lacking in service. Virginia Beach is such a beautiful place and this was such a spoiler. Breakfast I must say was good, but everything else was not even tolerable.

My husband and I just got back from a vacation in Virginia Beach and I can't tell you how happy I am that I didn't spend a fortune on an oceanfront room! We just wanted a quick & inexpensive getaway but we couldn't find anything under $100 a night on the oceanfront. I surfed the web and booked a package with Gold Key Vacations. We stayed 2 nights for $79. We took a timeshare tour on Saturday morning, but it wasn't that bad. In fact, our salesperson was really funny & friendly so we invited him to dinner that night! (he turned the offer down, but it was still great meeting him). The Ramada is a good property, the rooms were clean and the front desk was helpful. It's not the Ritz, but it's good enough for a quick getaway. I highly recommend staying at the Ramada and booking your reservation with Gold Key Vacations.

The only complaint was that the bed was not that comfortable. Other than that, all was fine.
